If Cristiano Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, Nazare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Vale to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Guerreiro in the 22nd minute of play forced Viloes's goalkeeper Viriato Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Nazare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Nazare FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nuno Vale hit a great ball. Gonçalo Reis spun around in front of the goal 27 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Nazare FC's goal. Gustavo Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Reis in the 32nd minute of play. Pedro Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonçalo Reis to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Viloes's Cristiano Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Pacheco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gustavo Pacheco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Borges in the 57th minute. Nuno Vale hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes, Viloes's Eduardo Paiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo Pacheco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Viloes reached it. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Lucas Guerreiro sped through Viloes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Viriato Mendes. Cristiano Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Viloes's Pedro Macedo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Lucas Guerreiro took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viriato Mendes. Viriato Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Nazare FC's zone, Cristiano Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Pacheco came out of the goal and Cristiano Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lúcio Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Mendes having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Viriato Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Viloes's Cristiano Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Pacheco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gonçalo Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gustavo Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Nazare FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
