In the 17th minute Eusébio Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Oporto Dragons UFP's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Coimbra came free, but Fernando Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Viegas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Coimbra went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Oporto Dragons UFP's Fernando Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Antunes in the 30th minute of play. Amílcar Antunes hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The Oporto Dragons UFP players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Fartaria were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Moutinho to make the kick off. Basílio Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Oporto Dragons UFP's Basílio Ramos got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 69th match minute, Oporto Dragons UFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Moniz to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Viegas was a little too slow when Amílcar Antunes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-2. 75 minutes into the game, Cândido Henriques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oporto Dragons UFP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Fartaria the free kick. Cândido Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Oporto Dragons UFP's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Moutinho came free, but Fernando Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Oporto Dragons UFP got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Leal. Fernando Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Pires got free with Fernando Viegas in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
