If Manuel Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Óscar Leiria's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Gabriel Rangel fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bemviuda's protests and gave Gabriel Rangel a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Rangel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Tocha's Daniel Correia tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, SC Bemviuda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Rangel to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Anjos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Bemviuda's Carlos Aires. But to his dismay, Carlos Aires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Óscar Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Osvaldo Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Manuel Macedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Tocha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 44th minute, Carlos Aires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hugo Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Aires to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Aires in the 52nd minute of play forced SC Tocha's goalkeeper Hugo Anjos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Daniel Correia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Bemviuda's Osvaldo Gaspar didn't even have to move. In the 91st minute, Óscar Leiria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Óscar Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Tocha's supporters rose to their feet, but Óscar Leiria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
