The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herberto Távora was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Rubim Guarda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivo Martins. Rubim Guarda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 64th minute, Rubim Guarda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivo Martins. The goal made the score 2-2. With a little luck, Cerco FC's Ivo Martins got control of the ball when Rubim Guarda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivo Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herberto Távora in the 69th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Álvaro Azeredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerco FC and the SC Perrais players grew even worse after the yellow card. That made the score 2-4 in the 82 minute of play. When Daniel Velasques came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the SC Perrais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Velasques couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Cerco FC's goalkeeper Ivo Martins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herberto Távora. Teófilo Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Pinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teófilo Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teófilo Pinho in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Pinto saved SC Perrais from getting behind.
