Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristiano Castro made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Sadoncelho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Fernandes came free, but António Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Aparício Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carquistão FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aparício Santarém was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 12 minutes, Gonçalo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carquistão FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 played minutes Sadoncelho FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Sousa. Avelino Reis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jacob Pádua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cláudio Sousa in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacob Pádua, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25th minute, one of Carquistão FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carquistão FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Fábio Marques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacob Pádua. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. The supporters of Carquistão FC booed when Sadoncelho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aparício Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Jairo Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carquistão FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sadoncelho FC the free kick. Cristiano Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jacob Pádua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The Sadoncelho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Manuel Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jacob Pádua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carquistão FC's Jacob Pádua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Castro in the 67th minute of play. Sadoncelho FC's Cristiano Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 70 minutes, Cristiano Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sadoncelho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aparício Santarém got free with António Cabral in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Pádua having to interfere.
