SC Guerreiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Pinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Matias charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Matias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes SC Ramilos got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Matias. In the 8th minute, Augusto Esteves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Moutinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, SC Ramilos's Augusto Esteves got a free kick in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Joel Morais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Moutinho. SC Guerreiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Morais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, SC Ramilos's Nuno Andrade got control of the ball when Viriato Vieira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nuno Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Guerreiro's Viriato Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Esteves in the 30th minute of the match. Viriato Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Vieira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Matias got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, SC Ramilos's Emanuel Matias got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Viriato Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Viriato Vieira notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of SC Ramilos's Nuno Andrade. Nuno Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Viriato Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Andrade was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute Viriato Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SC Guerreiro's Luís Moutinho got control of the ball when Cristóvão Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Viriato Vieira sped through SC Ramilos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nuno Andrade. 71 minutes into the match, SC Ramilos's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Vieira came free, but Nuno Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Viriato Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SC Ramilos's Nuno Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Vieira in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Viriato Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Guerreiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Viriato Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the SC Ramilos defense, Viriato Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Andrade. The SC Ramilos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Andrade should have stopped the shot. When SC Guerreiro's Viriato Vieira in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Ramilos's goalie prevented a goal. Luís Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
