After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Ferrugende! An unexpectedly hard shot by Higino Fraga in the 11th minute of play forced SC Ramilos's goalkeeper Nuno Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SC Ramilos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Augusto Esteves hit a great ball. Joel Morais struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Filipe Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ramilos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Morais in the 16th minute of play forced SC Ferrugende's goalkeeper Filipe Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, SC Ramilos's Cristóvão Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Delgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Castilho hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Mário Vilalobos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nuno Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Morais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Delgado having to make a save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Morais made a kick off. Cristóvão Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristóvão Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Delgado having to interfere. Filipe Delgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Morais's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, one of SC Ferrugende:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Ferrugende. The referee gave SC Ramilos a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ricardo Ferreira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Ferrugende's Filipe Delgado. 0-2. In the 66th match minute, SC Ramilos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Matias to maneuver through the defense. SC Ramilos's Nuno Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higino Fraga in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Marco Távora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Ferrugende fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Filipe Delgado had great luck who in the 76thth minute grab hold of the ball when Joel Morais from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Cristóvão Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Filipe Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higino Fraga in the 88th minute of the match. Augusto Esteves's late challenge caught a SC Ferrugende's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
