Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Vieira's late challenge caught a SC Palhota's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aprígio Sacramento in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Lopes saved Magoute from getting behind. Fernando Seixas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Barros struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Fernando Seixas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magoute. In the 18th minute of the match Rui Soares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Seixas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Palhota's Cassiano Veiga got a free kick in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, SC Palhota's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Teixeira came free, but Fernando Seixas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aprígio Sacramento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Magoute was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Hildeberto Camargo could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Luís Lopes however easily saved by the left post. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Palhota's goalkeeper Fernando Seixas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play, Magoute's Fábio Barros made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Seixas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Vieira in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Seixas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute of the match, Aprígio Sacramento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luís Lopes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Magoute defense, Aprígio Sacramento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Lopes. The Magoute fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Lopes should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Fernando Seixas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Teixeira in the 60th minute of the match. Hildeberto Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luís Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Rodrigo Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magoute and the SC Palhota players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute of the match Celso Vilanova shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Lopes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fernando Seixas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Teixeira in the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Rodrigo Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magoute's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Seixas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jorge Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Andrade got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Magoute's Rodrigo Andrade got a free kick in the 90th minute. Celso Vilanova took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Lopes. Magoute's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Palhota's zone, Fábio Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Seixas came out of the goal and Fábio Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The SC Palhota fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Magoute were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
