Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when André Veloso made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Alex Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Medroes's Hermano Pinho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lagedo. SC Medroes's Mauro Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Veloso in the 12th minute of play. SC Medroes's Mauro Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save SC Medroes from getting a goal against them. André Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Nicolau Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lagedo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rafael Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarbas Leiria charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarbas Leiria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Lagedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Leiria to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lagedo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jacinto Paião hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Hermano Pinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Pedroso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Joaquim Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolau Brito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Mauro Cabral when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 32 minutes, Ricardo Eanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Medroes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Eanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lagedo's Rafael Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Eanes in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Medroes's zone, André Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Cabral came out of the goal and André Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 36 in the game by Nicolau Brito from a close distance when the talented Mauro Cabral managed to make a qualified save. The wind increased when Ricardo Eanes made the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Joaquim Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rafael Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Lagedo's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Eanes came free, but Rafael Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joaquim Resende came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the SC Medroes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Resende couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermes Fonseca during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Hermes Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, André Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Cabral. SC Medroes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ricardo Eanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Resende made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 81stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Rafael Pedroso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Veloso in the 87th minute of play forced SC Medroes's goalkeeper Mauro Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lagedo booed when SC Medroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Quinaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Medroes's Mauro Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolau Brito in the 91st minute of play. Joaquim Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lagedo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alex Moura hit a great ball. Lagedo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
