Lourenço Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Santana went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Anselmo Torcato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Amílcar Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Rangel hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. David Santana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Lourenço Fonseca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 95 minutes into the match, Salgueiros FC's Israel Mourato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caetano Leitão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salgueiros FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
