Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Dias started the match with the kick off. In the 9th match minute, Barbudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Parente to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Lousada having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Miguel Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Chaos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Barcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Barcelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vivaldo Lousada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Chaos's Miguel Dias got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barbudo's goalkeeper Vivaldo Lousada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Anselmo Paixão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Moura. The goal made the score 1-0. SC Chaos's Emílio Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Paixão was the one to do the kick off. Evandro Soveral struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. José Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbudo. When David Castro fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Chaos's protests and gave David Castro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Chaos getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. David Castro hit a great ball. Vivaldo Lousada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Dias in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Chaos's Emílio Amaral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vivaldo Lousada. That made the score 1-1 after 62 minutes of play. Pedro Almeida hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Anselmo Paixão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. José Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Paixão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Moura came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barbudo's Evandro Soveral. But to his dismay, Evandro Soveral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 75 minutes into the match, Barbudo's goalkeeper Vivaldo Lousada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emílio Amaral. In the 79th minute Evandro Soveral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Evandro Soveral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Paixão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. José Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Evandro Soveral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Miguel Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barbudo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
