Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Telmo Brites took the kick off in the first half of the match. Salvador Lucena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Ferro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, one of Lamacais:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lamacais. In the 17th minute, Emílio Resende ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Lucena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 19 minutes, André Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meixedo FC and the Lamacais players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Meixedo FC got a freekick which was hit by André Gonçalves. 21 minutes into the match, Meixedo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vivaldo Vidigal. In the 23rd minute Lamacais were awarded a corner. Rui Brochado went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Avelino Cerqueira managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in Meixedo FC's zone, Humberto Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Gaspar came out of the goal and Humberto Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Lamacais defense, Eusébio Ferro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salvador Lucena. The Lamacais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salvador Lucena should have stopped the shot. Telmo Brites charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Telmo Brites the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Telmo Brites hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eusébio Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Lucena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Ferro in the 38th minute of play. Eusébio Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Avelino Cerqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Ferro in the 48th minute of play forced Lamacais's goalkeeper Salvador Lucena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Lamacais's Isidro Brochado got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Lamacais's Salvador Lucena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Lamacais from getting a goal against them. Salvador Lucena was a little too slow when Eusébio Ferro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-4. A hard shot 66 in the game by Emílio Resende from a close distance when the talented Salvador Lucena managed to make a qualified save. Lamacais's players were relieved. Humberto Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jorge Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Lamacais's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Ferro came free, but Salvador Lucena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Lucena came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Meixedo FC's Eusébio Ferro. But to his dismay, Eusébio Ferro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When Meixedo FC's Eusébio Ferro in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lamacais's goalie prevented a goal. If Emanuel Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telmo Brites struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jorge Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lamacais. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Meixedo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
