Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eusébio Ferro took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Futebol Clube Flaviense's Valter Gameiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Gaspar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Emílio Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hamilton Regueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Eusébio Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meixedo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Ferro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Antero Malta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamilton Regueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Ferro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Resende got free with Hamilton Regueira in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hamilton Regueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Ferro in the 19th minute of play. Emílio Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meixedo FC's Eusébio Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Antero Malta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube Flaviense's Valter Gameiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Futebol Clube Flaviense booed when Meixedo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Meixedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Telinhos came free, but Jorge Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamilton Regueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yuri Telinhos to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Meixedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Campos. In the 55th minute, Futebol Clube Flaviense's Yuri Telinhos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Gaspar. Jorge Gaspar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Caio Távora kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Caio Távora fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futebol Clube Flaviense's protests and gave Caio Távora a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute Eusébio Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamilton Regueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Meixedo FC booed when Futebol Clube Flaviense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antero Malta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Valter Gameiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Jorge Gaspar however easily saved by the left post. Yuri Telinhos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Gaspar having to interfere. When Emílio Resende came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Meixedo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Resende couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Futebol Clube Flaviense eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
