Cristiano Rosado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Silva went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adérito Vale was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, F.C Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Adérito Vale came free, but Cristiano Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Silva scored 1-4 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Rosado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cassiano Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Magalhães in the 67th minute of play. If Fernando Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Rosado having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Sandro Magalhães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cassiano Leão. Vinhaça FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Magalhães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. 81 minutes into the match, Vinhaça FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Amaro came free, but Cassiano Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Magalhães in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cassiano Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adérito Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cristiano Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cassiano Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vinhaça FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
