Jorge Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cristiano Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Rosado having to make a save. Sandro Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Eduardo Leiria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Real Madrid. Sandro Magalhães received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eduardo Leiria came out and tried to block the shot, but Sandro Magalhães slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute Jorge Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SC Gafa's Afonso Coelho in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C Real Madrid's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gafa's zone, Sandro Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Leiria came out of the goal and Sandro Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Magalhães received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. António Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, F.C Real Madrid's António Amaro got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Coelho in the 44th minute of play forced F.C Real Madrid's goalkeeper Cristiano Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Coelho in the 47th minute of the match. Jorge Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cristiano Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandro Magalhães to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Sandro Magalhães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Gafa's Eduardo Leiria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 55 played minutes SC Gafa got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Matos. 59 minutes into the game, Paulo Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Gafa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Real Madrid the free kick. Paulo Leiria walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Magalhães in the 63rd minute of play forced SC Gafa's goalkeeper Eduardo Leiria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C Real Madrid's António Amaro got a free kick in the 64th minute. SC Gafa's Afonso Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Afonso Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, SC Gafa's Afonso Coelho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Jorge Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, F.C Real Madrid's Sandro Magalhães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Leiria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. SC Gafa's Eduardo Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Magalhães in the 84th minute of play. Jorge Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes of play, F.C Real Madrid's Sandro Magalhães made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Leiria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sandro Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eduardo Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If António Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C Real Madrid were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Gafa for a fine match.
