Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bento Gaspar started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, S.L.EIRAS's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Vieira came free, but Diamantino Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Diogo Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Bento Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, S.L.EIRAS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Oliveira came free, but Diamantino Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Daniel Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coucos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. S.L.EIRAS's Diamantino Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save S.L.EIRAS from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Moniz in the 23rd minute of the match. Amadeu Pinho struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Cláudio Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.L.EIRAS. When Bento Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the S.L.EIRAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bento Gaspar couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, Bento Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Coucos FC's Domingos Bessa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for S.L.EIRAS. In the 35th minute, Domingos Bessa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and S.L.EIRAS's Diamantino Almeida didn't even have to move. After having played for 38 minutes, Diogo Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.L.EIRAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Moniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bento Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Gaspar having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Oliveira to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Daniel Oliveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino Almeida was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Diogo Moniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Diamantino Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Oliveira in the 54th minute of the match. Cláudio Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bento Gaspar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. S.L.EIRAS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 70th match minute, S.L.EIRAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Coucos FC booed when S.L.EIRAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Gonçalo Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diogo Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Cláudio Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Cláudio Gaspar managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when S.L.EIRAS's Diogo Moniz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Bento Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.L.EIRAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diamantino Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Rui Paredes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bento Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Gaspar having to interfere. S.L.EIRAS played a much better game than Coucos FC and deserved their victory. The Coucos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
