Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Henrique Melo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Lázaro Ventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Ventura in the 9th minute of play. Gentil Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Varzea's zone, Lázaro Ventura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Silva came out of the goal and Lázaro Ventura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Juvenal Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carregais FC's zone, Henrique Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Aleixo came out of the goal and Henrique Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as António Esteves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juvenal Aleixo. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, SC Varzea's António Esteves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juvenal Aleixo. Juvenal Aleixo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When SC Varzea's Henrique Melo in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carregais FC's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, SC Varzea's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Ventura came free, but António Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If António Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Gentil Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lázaro Ventura to make the kick off. Juvenal Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Ventura went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 57thth minute of the game Henrique Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carregais FC's Juvenal Aleixo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lázaro Ventura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. António Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When António Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the SC Varzea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Esteves couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Carregais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Melo came free, but Juvenal Aleixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Ventura in the 68th minute of play forced SC Varzea's goalkeeper António Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Esteves in the 69th minute of the match. Heitor Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Carregais FC's Juvenal Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Melo in the 75th minute of play. Henrique Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Henrique Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Varzea's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Aleixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lázaro Ventura was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Carregais FC's Aloísio Ferraz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Henrique Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Varzea had won after a very even match.
