Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. António Malafaia started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Eusébio Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute, António Malafaia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Guerreiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. SC Catassol's Ramiro Eiró proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save SC Catassol from getting a goal against them. Joel Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th match minute, SC Catassol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Moutinho got free with Ramiro Eiró in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. António Malafaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Guerreiro having to interfere. Vladimiro Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alexandre Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Eiró took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mariano Moutinho came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SC Rumeleira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Moutinho couldn't finish the play. Vladimiro Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Joel Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Eiró saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute Joel Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Eiró saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Resende in the 47th minute of play forced SC Rumeleira's goalkeeper Alexandre Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Vladimiro Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Guerreiro having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Júlio Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Malafaia in the 62nd minute of play. Ramiro Eiró took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Moutinho in the 75th minute of play forced SC Catassol's goalkeeper Ramiro Eiró to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Mariano Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Rumeleira's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Eiró breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Catassol's Júlio Santos got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio Lamego during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ramiro Eiró took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, José Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Eiró. SC Catassol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 89 minutes into the match, SC Catassol's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Andrade came free, but Ramiro Eiró reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laércio Lamego hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Mariano Moutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Rumeleira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Mariano Moutinho scored 3-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Eiró, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Rumeleira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
