SC Ladario's Armindo Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ademar Antas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Barros in the 5th minute of play. Bruno Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Basílio Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, SC Ladario's goalkeeper Joaquim Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Medeiros. Joaquim Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar Antas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basílio Barros went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Tomás Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. PineFC's Bruno Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armindo Melo might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ademar Antas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armindo Melo ran back to his position shaking his head. Basílio Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ademar Antas having to make a save. In the 39th minute Armindo Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Antas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Antas having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basílio Barros in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademar Antas saved PineFC from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Joaquim Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Tomás Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Medeiros in the 92nd minute of play forced SC Ladario's goalkeeper Joaquim Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Basílio Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Antas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
