After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Pedro Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D.do Outeiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Carvalheira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hildeberto Caetano hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Zarco Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Carvalheira having to interfere. Zarco Alves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Carvalheira came out and tried to block the shot, but Zarco Alves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Daniel Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Laurentino Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Nóbrega who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Vicente Carvalheira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Sarnada's Vicente Carvalheira got control of the ball when Pedro Nóbrega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Carmo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Carmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sarnada booed when C.D.do Outeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Carmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Avelino Freire shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurentino Lisboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zarco Alves made the kick off in the second half. Vicente Carvalheira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zarco Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Laurentino Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliano Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Zarco Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Carvalheira. Sarnada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zarco Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 75th match minute, Sarnada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alípio Távora to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Carvalheira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarco Alves in the 79th minute of play. C.D.do Outeiro fully deserved thier win.
