Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristiano Pinheiro kicked off to start the match. Jorge Candal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gustavo Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting's goalkeeper Viriato Noronha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sporting's Adolfo Padilha got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting's zone, Cristiano Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viriato Noronha came out of the goal and Cristiano Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, SC Coselhas's Cristiano Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viriato Noronha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Sporting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Campelo to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, SC Coselhas's Vítor Dantas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 24th minute Cristiano Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Noronha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting's Viriato Noronha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Pinheiro in the 40th minute of play. Joaquim Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Viriato Noronha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Coselhas. Gustavo Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Candal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Candal made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cristiano Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viriato Noronha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Jordão Novais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Leal hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Joaquim Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Noronha having to interfere. Cristiano Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes of play, SC Coselhas's Joaquim Pacheco made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viriato Noronha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquim Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristiano Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viriato Noronha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Sporting's Viriato Noronha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Pinheiro in the 80th minute of play. When Daniel Trindade fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Coselhas's protests and gave Daniel Trindade a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, SC Coselhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Trindade to maneuver through the defense. Viriato Noronha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Coselhas had won after a very even match.
