After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Eliseu Prates managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spakona 69's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Prates was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vivaldo Caetano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the game, David Ramires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CF Belenenses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spakona 69 the free kick. David Ramires hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Ronaldo Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Spakona 69's Cesário Melo got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Duarte Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the CF Belenenses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Mendes couldn't finish the play. In the 20th match minute, Spakona 69 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesário Melo to maneuver through the defense. David Fontoura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aparício Teixeira in the 23rd minute of play. Aparício Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Fontoura having to interfere. CF Belenenses's Duarte Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Cesário Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eliseu Prates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseu Prates made a kick off. The supporters of CF Belenenses booed when Spakona 69 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes CF Belenenses got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Mendes. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Duarte Mendes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eliseu Prates hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Eliseu Prates's late challenge caught a CF Belenenses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseu Prates helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CF Belenenses booed when Spakona 69 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Prates didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aparício Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute Aparício Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Fontoura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Maurício Neiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
