Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vasco Gaspar kicked off to start the match. Raul Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almiro Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute SC Cancinhola were awarded a corner. Jerónimo Sarmento went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on SC Cancinhola's corner Jerónimo Sarmento fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raul Simões quite easily take care of the ball. Filipe Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Raul Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Pimentel in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Almiro Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cancinhola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Almiro Aleixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Revezes defense, Almiro Aleixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Simões. The Revezes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Simões should have stopped the shot. If Vasco Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Humberto Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Revezes's Filipe Antunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vítor Cerqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Humberto Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Raul Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cancinhola. Vasco Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Almiro Aleixo was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Humberto Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cancinhola's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Pimentel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasco Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Vítor Cerqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revezes. Filipe Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vítor Cerqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Revezes's Filipe Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Almiro Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Simões having to interfere. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Revezes's goalkeeper Raul Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vasco Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Vítor Cerqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Humberto Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SC Cancinhola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Pimentel couldn't finish the play. Revezes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
