With a left leg Laureano Cruz saved «««Ribatexas»»» from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, «««Ribatexas»»»'s goalkeeper Laureano Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus Valido. David Aragão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Laureano Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lourenço Quintanilha fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored «««Ribatexas»»»'s protests and gave Lourenço Quintanilha a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to «««Ribatexas»»» getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Lourenço Quintanilha hit a great ball. Domingos Esteves charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Esteves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Estrada FC booed when «««Ribatexas»»» was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Estrada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Santarém to maneuver through the defense. Mateus Valido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Aragão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Cruz having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Mateus Valido made a precise shot to the right of Laureano Cruz. «««Ribatexas»»»'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Aragão made a kick off. Estrada FC's Mateus Valido got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Mateus Valido in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Mateus Valido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71stth minute of the game Mateus Valido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but «««Ribatexas»»»'s Laureano Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mateus Valido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Aragão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Hildeberto Menezes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Aragão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, David Aragão notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of «««Ribatexas»»»'s Laureano Cruz. Laureano Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Estrada FC were the better team. Estrada FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
