Humberto Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Humberto Sá hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Rui Sarmento took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Paulo Alves to make any attempt to save it. Tarcísio Quental showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Catarino Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gervásio Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Null FC's protests and gave Gervásio Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Simão Borba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tarcísio Quental was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Borba in the 23rd minute of play forced Null FC's goalkeeper Tarcísio Quental to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarcísio Quental showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Borba in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Álvaro Salgado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Álvaro Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Camoes's goalkeeper Paulo Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Alves made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Álvaro Salgado sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Camoes's Simão Borba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tarcísio Quental narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Sarmento in the 60th minute of play. Simão Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Tarcísio Quental tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Simão Borba took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Tarcísio Quental to make any attempt to save it. If Simão Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Afonso Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Pacheco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarcísio Quental breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Null FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Simão Borba scored to the left of an out of position Tarcísio Quental, making the score, 1-3. Catarino Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarcísio Quental made an important save on a dangerous shot by Catarino Leiria in the 85th minute. If Simão Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 89 minutes of play, Camoes's Catarino Leiria made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tarcísio Quental was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Camoes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
