Duarte Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fábio Santarém in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Vaz in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Cunha saved SC Pinduradouro from getting behind. José Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Cunha having to interfere. When Gaspar Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Lever fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Vaz couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Vaz in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Cunha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Duarte Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Armando Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Vaz's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Lever's Duarte Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Anjos in the 75th minute of play. Gaspar Vazs short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Armando Cunha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daniel Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Cunha made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Gaspar Vaz sent off a good shot on target. When Afonso Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pinduradouro's protests and gave Afonso Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. Afonso Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Lever were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
