If Torcato Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Meireles struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Telmo Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oldroes. If Gonçalo Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oldroes's Torcato Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telmo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torcato Macedo in the 75th minute of the match. Telmo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torcato Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Afonso Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Amado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adolfo Pestana came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Amado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 88th minute. Oldroes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
