Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alexandre Reis took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute of the match José Monteiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teófilo Abrantes skillfully saved the ball. Quintino Bulhosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 minutes, Quintino Bulhosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carromeu and the Mazarefes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Quintino Bulhosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Jacinto Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teófilo Abrantes. Carromeu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 28th minute, Nuno Rodrigues made a precise shot to the right of Teófilo Abrantes. Carromeu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Mazarefes FC's zone, Vivaldo Velasques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cândido Silva came out of the goal and Vivaldo Velasques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quintino Bulhosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cândido Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Mazarefes FC's goalkeeper Cândido Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quintino Bulhosa. Cândido Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Velasques in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Velasques in the 49th minute of play forced Mazarefes FC's goalkeeper Cândido Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vivaldo Velasques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santiago Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Reis in the 54th minute of play forced Carromeu's goalkeeper Teófilo Abrantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes Carromeu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfredo Torres who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Araújo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teófilo Abrantes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Nuno Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Mazarefes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. Teófilo Abrantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Reis in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Nuno Rodrigues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Teófilo Abrantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Assunção charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Assunção the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Quintino Bulhosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cândido Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Vivaldo Velasques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carromeu's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Velasques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Quintino Bulhosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Silva having to interfere. If Vivaldo Velasques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Israel Gusmão during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mazarefes FC booed when Carromeu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Gusmão didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alexandre Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teófilo Abrantes came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Mazarefes FC's Nuno Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Nuno Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Reis in the 95th minute of play forced Carromeu's goalkeeper Teófilo Abrantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vivaldo Velasques in the 101st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cândido Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mazarefes FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
