Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fábio Pedroso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Raul Moura came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Barqueira's Jorge Linhares. But to his dismay, Jorge Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Adriano Carvalhais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Timóteo Barata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Santarem's zone, Timóteo Barata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Moura came out of the goal and Timóteo Barata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jorge Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Moura having to interfere. If Fábio Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Santarem's Fábio Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adriano Carvalhais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Pedroso in the 27th minute of play. Raul Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timóteo Barata in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Bento Leiria notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Barqueira's Adriano Carvalhais. Adriano Carvalhais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to SC Santarem getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fábio Pedroso hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SC Santarem's Adelino Viana got a free kick in the 41st minute. Adriano Carvalhais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timóteo Barata made a kick off. Adriano Carvalhais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bento Leiria in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Jorge Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Barqueira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jorge Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Moura having to interfere. Israel Aguiar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raul Moura. SC Santarem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SC Santarem's Bento Leiria got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adriano Carvalhais made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Bento Leiria sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Jorge Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timóteo Barata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Santos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Bento Leiria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Adriano Carvalhais made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Barqueira had won after a very even match.
