Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mariano Santarém, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Bartolo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Muar were winning 1-2.
After a rather tough play, Bartolo FC's Zarco Leitão got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A hard shot 55 in the game by Humberto Cardoso from a close distance when the talented Rogério Queirós managed to make a qualified save. Bartolo FC's players were relieved. Rogério Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Campos in the 56th minute. Rogério Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Bartolo FC's Reginaldo Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adérito Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Reginaldo Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Muar's zone, Alexandre Lisboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Santarém came out of the goal and Alexandre Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, Reginaldo Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Mariano Santarém was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bartolo FC's Rogério Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Branco in the 97th minute of play.
