The referee ignored Caparide FC's protests and gave António Jesus a yellow card for diving instead. Albertino Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ucanha FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The wind increased when Joaquim Fiúza made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Caparide FC's Emanuel Almeida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aparício Bragança narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caparide FC's Albertino Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Caparide FC from getting a goal against them. Caparide FC's André Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ucanha FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jorge Caires hit a great ball. Aparício Bragança took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, Caparide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Jesus to maneuver through the defense. Aparício Bragança made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Almeida in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, André Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
