Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rui Figueiredo got the match started through his kick off. Rui Figueiredo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Figueiredo in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adalberto Vilela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Jacinto Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Vilela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rogério Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martinga's protests and gave Rogério Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. Rogério Gomes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Folharido booed when Martinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Idalécio Espírito Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Folharido's Rui Figueiredo in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Martinga's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Martinga's zone, Rui Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Vilela came out of the goal and Rui Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Castilho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Bessa having to make a save. During the 41st minute of the match Rogério Gomes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rogério Gomes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rogério Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Rui Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Adalberto Vilela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the match, Joaquim Castilho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Bessa. Folharido's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Castilho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Martinga's Adalberto Vilela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Figueiredo in the 57th minute of play. Adalberto Vilela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Figueiredo in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Martinga's Daniel Vilas Boas got a free kick in the 65th minute. Folharido's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacinto Matias in the 68th minute. Folharido's Jacinto Matias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adalberto Vilela in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joaquim Castilho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Bessa having to make a save. Alfredo Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Bessa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Joaquim Castilho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martinga's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Castilho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Bessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adalberto Vilela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Joaquim Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Martinga's Rodrigo Carvalho tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Martinga got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Cabral. When Folharido's Jacinto Simões in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Martinga's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Martinga eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
