After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ricardo Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emanuel Matias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Sálvio Sequeira made a huge save. Ricardo Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sálvio Sequeira having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Andrade to make the kick off. Hugo Maciel struck a weak shot in the 54th minute.
