Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lisandro Zambujal made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, SC Pisoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Trindade to maneuver through the defense. Hamilton Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Zambujal, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Alípio Ramires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almendras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pisoes the free kick. After a rather tough play, Almendras's Alípio Ramires got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Almendras's goalkeeper Hamilton Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timóteo Colaço. In the 17th minute Paulo Azenha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Sobral charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Sobral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Ricardo Sobral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Tarcísio Sampaio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Pisoes's Nuno Almeida didn't even have to move. Nuno Almeida came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Almendras's Diego Reis. But to his dismay, Diego Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Paulo Azenha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almendras's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Azenha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Azenha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Paulo Azenha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nuno Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 42 minutes, Paulo Azenha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almendras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Azenha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Pisoes's Nuno Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Reis in the 44th minute of play. If Paulo Azenha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Domingos Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Almendras's Alípio Ramires got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Almendras's goal looked a bit too open when Timóteo Colaço came free, but Hamilton Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisandro Zambujal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hamilton Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Almendras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alípio Ramires to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Zambujal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Almendras got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Vilaverde. Almendras's Diego Reis pulled a muscle in his leg after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedito Trindade during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Almendras. Tarcísio Sampaio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nuno Almeida. 0-4. In the 83rd minute, Timóteo Colaço hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, one of SC Pisoes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tarcísio Sampaio shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Alípio Ramires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almendras's supporters rose to their feet, but Alípio Ramires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Almendras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
