In the 6th minute of the match, Enzo Ihintza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Cabral saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Forfut getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Otto Aleberg hit a great ball. In the 10th minute of the match Tomás Veiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Aleixo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Forfut's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Faria came free, but Paulo Aleixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Forfut booed when Corveira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Cabral was a little too slow when Enzo Ihintza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Paulo Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Enzo Ihintza in the 28th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ricardo Cabral kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. With his leg Ricardo Cabral managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Forfut's Gaspar Delgado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Forfut booed when Corveira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Forfut's Paulo Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Freitas in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ricardo Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Delgado in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Forfut's Otto Aleberg got a free kick in the 59th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Forfut's Gaspar Delgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xavier Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match, Carlos Freitas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo Aleixo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gaspar Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ricardo Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Ihintza in the 73rd minute of the match. Paulo Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Amaral got free with Paulo Aleixo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Moreira in the 85th minute of play. After 92 played minutes Corveira FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Valente. Ricardo Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Forfut had won after a very even match.
