Rafael Rebelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Henriques in the 5th minute of the match. Afonso Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Aspra FC booed when Gado Suíno e Bovino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nélson Sacadura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio Vilar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Regalado in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Rebelo saved Gado Suíno e Bovino from getting behind. Avelino Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idalécio Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Gado Suíno e Bovino's Rafael Rebelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Regalado in the 30th minute of play. Idalécio Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avelino Antunes having to make a save. When Afonso Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Aspra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Henriques couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Aspra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Idalécio Azevedo came free, but Avelino Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Henriques in the 40th minute of play forced Gado Suíno e Bovino's goalkeeper Rafael Rebelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Vilar's late challenge caught a Aspra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Vilar helped the player get up and apologised. Inácio Vilar hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Marcos Regalado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aspra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Regalado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nélson Sacadura hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Aspra FC's Marcos Regalado was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Regalado in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Rebelo saved Gado Suíno e Bovino from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Marcos Regalado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rafael Rebelo, passed just outside the right post. Aspra FC's Avelino Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idalécio Azevedo in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gado Suíno e Bovino's zone, Afonso Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Rebelo came out of the goal and Afonso Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Vilar was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 76th minute, Inácio Vilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aspra FC's Avelino Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Campelo in the 83rd minute of play. Nélson Sacadura hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Aspra FC's Diogo Macena broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 90th minute, Afonso Henriques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Aspra FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
