Vasco Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Adelino Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco Pacheco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renato Monsanto having to make a save. Renato Monsanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Faro in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasco Pacheco got free with Renato Monsanto in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the game, Vasco Pacheco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Renato Monsanto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Torres during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes SC Rilvas got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Torres. 23 minutes into the game, Kadinga FC's Joaquim Palha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Freitas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 29 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Renato Monsanto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 played minutes Kadinga FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Vaz. André Rangel charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Rangel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Kadinga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Rangel to maneuver through the defense. André Rangel struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Faro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vasco Pacheco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renato Monsanto having to make a save. In the 58th match minute, Kadinga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Viana to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Nuno Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renato Monsanto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After having played for 70 minutes, Vasco Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Rilvas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Renato Monsanto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adelino Faro's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Norberto Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Kadinga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Vaz couldn't finish the play. If Adelino Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Pacheco in the 93rd minute of play forced Kadinga FC's goalkeeper Renato Monsanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Vasco Pacheco put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Renato Monsanto. SC Rilvas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kadinga FC for a fine match.
