Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gustavo Neves made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Carnide FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alberto Assis hit a great ball. After 12 minutes of play Carnide FC's Alberto Assis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 13 played minutes Carnide FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Assis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Neves in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Mesquita saved Carnide FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Carnide FC's Lisandro Silva got a free kick in the 15th minute. Merouco's Vicente Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Neves in the 23rd minute of the match. Carnide FC's Hildeberto Valido got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match Lucas Torres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Mesquita skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Merouco's Adolfo Rodrigues got control of the ball when Hildeberto Valido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Mesquita having to interfere. A collision led to Carnide FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Evandro Costa hit a great ball. Marcos Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Carnide FC's Inácio Jesus got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Lucas Torres sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carnide FC's Marcos Mesquita didn't even have to move. Gustavo Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carnide FC's zone, Gustavo Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Mesquita came out of the goal and Gustavo Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Carnide FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Merouco were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hildeberto Valido made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Antero Rijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Neves in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Mesquita saved Carnide FC from getting behind. Carnide FC's Hildeberto Valido got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Vicente Barros sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Neves struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Marcos Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merouco. In the 68th minute Hildeberto Valido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Carnide FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Silva. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Neves during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lisandro Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hildeberto Valido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the game, Carnide FC's Hildeberto Valido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Rodrigues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Vicente Barros, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcos Mesquita was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
