Marcos Patrício made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Pedro Castro sent off a good shot on target. After 10 minutes of play, Texas Team's Maurício Portela made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Américo Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Lisboa's Américo Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Amaro in the 13th minute of play. Pedro Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Patrício took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Patrício showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes, Miguel Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lisboa and the Texas Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Lisboa getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Miguel Campos hit a great ball. Joaquim Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Castro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Patrício. That made the score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. Pedro Castro didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-1 via right post in the game's 39th minute. FC Lisboa's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Pedro Castro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Texas Team's Hélder Amaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Américo Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Castro to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Nikos Kafetzopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lisboa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Kafetzopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maurício Portela was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Texas Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 65 played minutes FC Lisboa got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Kafetzopoulos. In the 69th minute Maurício Portela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurício Portela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Pires having to interfere. Marcos Patrício showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Kafetzopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Miguel Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Lisboa's Américo Pires got control of the ball when Hélder Amaro tried to sneak it across the goal line.
