Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Inácio Soares kicked off to start the match. Américo Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Dias in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Jacinto Henriques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Américo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Henriques in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lageosa's zone, Rui Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Nogueira came out of the goal and Rui Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute of the match SC Rocas got a corner. Lageosa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Cunha ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedro Cunha made a great header on SC Rocas's corner, it was just that Lageosa's André Nogueira managed to reach the ball for a save. Rui Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rui Dias came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Lageosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Dias couldn't finish the play. Américo Silva made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Rui Dias sent off a good shot on target. If Jacinto Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Rocas's Américo Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save SC Rocas from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute, Rui Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Lageosa getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Manuel Pacheco hit a great ball. Pedro Cunha, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rui Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Nogueira having to interfere. Inácio Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. André Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Soares in the 44th minute of the match.
The wind increased when Jacinto Henriques made the kick off in the second half. Américo Silva came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lageosa's Rui Dias. But to his dismay, Rui Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rui Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. André Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Inácio Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute of the match Nuno Cabral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Américo Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Inácio Soares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of André Nogueira. The goal made the score 1-1. Jacinto Henriques struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Américo Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lageosa. In the 74th minute Rui Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Henriques struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Américo Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lageosa. If Jacinto Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, SC Rocas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Martins to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Soares in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Nogueira saved Lageosa from getting behind. Américo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Henriques in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Dias in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Américo Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Américo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Soares in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes SC Rocas got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Soares. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
