Pedro Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Paredes in the 9th minute of play. Toutosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Foupana getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Miguel Soares hit a great ball. Toutosa's Vítor Figueiredo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 33 minutes in the game, fortunately Amadeu Carneiro had problems saving as it came toward the left post. António Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Pedro Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Toutosa's goal looked a bit too open when António Paredes came free, but Pedro Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Trindade's late challenge caught a Foupana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Trindade helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Foupana booed when Toutosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when José Assis made the kick off in the second half. José Assis took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Carneiro.
