Domingos Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gustavo Fontoura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Lopes's late challenge caught a Balazeima FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emílio Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. Emílio Lopes hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Manuel Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Normando Furtado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cândido Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Baía in the 37th minute of the match. If Frederico Baía had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes, Diamantino Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adjusta and the Balazeima FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Adjusta got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Faro. Balazeima FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Manuel Andrade scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Fontoura, making the score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. António Bessa was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Balazeima FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Andrade came free, but Gustavo Fontoura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Fontoura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Domingos Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Andrade struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gustavo Fontoura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adjusta. When Adjusta's Manuel Andrade in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Adjusta's goalkeeper Cândido Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domingos Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64thth minute of the game Manuel Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balazeima FC's Gustavo Fontoura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Adjusta's zone, António Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cândido Barbosa came out of the goal and António Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Damião Frois fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balazeima FC's protests and gave Damião Frois a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Adjusta booed when Balazeima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damião Frois didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Manuel Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Adjusta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Andrade couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Domingos Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adjusta's Cândido Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Adjusta from getting a goal against them. After 84 minutes, Hugo Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adjusta and the Balazeima FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Adjusta getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Hugo Pinho hit a great ball. After 86 minutes, Frederico Baía made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Adjusta's Cândido Barbosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Andrade struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Gustavo Fontoura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adjusta. Adjusta were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
