In the 15th minute Carlos Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfírio Barcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Assis in the 29th minute of the match. Armando Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Armando Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Porfírio Barcelos was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murilo Assis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Carlos Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ervoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Porfírio Barcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th match minute, Duque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Azeredo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Abreu in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Tavares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Porfírio Barcelos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anselmo Azeredo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, SC Ervoes's Hélder Moniz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Porfírio Barcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Mota in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, SC Ervoes's José Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Porfírio Barcelos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Ervoes's Armando Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When SC Ervoes's Carlos Mota in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Duque's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute, Carlos Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porfírio Barcelos came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Ervoes's José Guerreiro. But to his dismay, José Guerreiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Carlos Mota got in the 100th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Porfírio Barcelos handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar.
