Carlos Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cesário Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to A Equipa getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Honorato Nunes hit a great ball. José Guerreiro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cesário Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Mota in the 21st minute of the match. When Armando Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SC Ervoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Tavares couldn't finish the play. Horácio Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bernardo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Horácio Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A Equipa's Cesário Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save A Equipa from getting a goal against them. Armando Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesário Freitas having to interfere. Adélio Ferro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ramiro Fidalgo made the kick off in the second half. Heitor Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Horácio Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horácio Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th match minute, A Equipa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Armando Tavares scored 1-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesário Freitas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, A Equipa's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Tavares came free, but Cesário Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Carlos Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Hélder Moniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Ervoes and the A Equipa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramiro Fidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that SC Ervoes were the better team. SC Ervoes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
