Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ramiro Fidalgo kicked off to start the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in A Equipa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! Nicolas Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nicolas Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Duque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Abreu couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind A Equipa's goalkeeper Cesário Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesário Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Abreu in the 24th minute of the match. A Equipa's Cesário Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Abreu in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, A Equipa's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Assis came free, but Cesário Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, A Equipa's Horácio Leal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Porfírio Barcelos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Ramiro Fidalgo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Porfírio Barcelos, passed just outside the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Murilo Assis made a kick off. Murilo Assis struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Cesário Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duque. In the 55th minute, Honorato Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Neto during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Duque booed when A Equipa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Duque's Jairo Macena broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 59th match minute, A Equipa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Nunes to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Manuel Onofre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesário Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ramiro Fidalgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Azeredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesário Freitas having to interfere. When Ramiro Fidalgo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the A Equipa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Fidalgo couldn't finish the play. If Murilo Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Anselmo Azeredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Murilo Assis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 93 minutes into the match, A Equipa's Horácio Leal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Porfírio Barcelos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A Equipa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
