Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Patacao's David Carvalho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lourenço Infante came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Patacao's Cândido Machado. But to his dismay, Cândido Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Cândido Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by David Carvalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Lourenço Infante managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when SC Patacao's Cândido Machado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26th match minute, Amoreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Paixão to maneuver through the defense. Lourenço Infante was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Raul Macedo. Cândido Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rui Paixão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lourenço Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Carvalho in the 52nd minute of play. Lourenço Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Carvalho in the 62nd minute of the match. After 69 minutes, David Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Patacao and the Amoreira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes SC Patacao got a freekick which was hit by David Carvalho. If Cândido Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, David Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Patacao's supporters rose to their feet, but David Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lourenço Infante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lourenço Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Machado in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Cândido Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lourenço Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Carvalho in the 82nd minute of play. David Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Infante having to interfere. The supporters of SC Patacao booed when Amoreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Paixão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, SC Patacao's Raul Macedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. SC Patacao's Cândido Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
