Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bento Assis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rui Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordão Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Gonçalves in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bento Assis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jordão Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Macedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Amadeu Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lapa Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sul FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lapa Portugal's Amadeu Dias got a free kick in the 19th minute. Emílio Lima was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bento Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Assis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Moita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lapa Portugal's Carlos Moita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Lapa Portugal from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jordão Prestes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. António Alves scored 1-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Moita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bento Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Moita having to interfere. Jordão Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jordão Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. André Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, André Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Bento Assis made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Moita. Lapa Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Carlos Moita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Alves in the 78th minute of the match. If António Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Alves in the 83rd minute of play forced Lapa Portugal's goalkeeper Carlos Moita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bento Assis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Moita having to make a save. António Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sul FC's Emílio Lima couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lapa Portugal. António Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Moita having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Sul FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
