Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vicente Matias started the match with the kick off. After having played for 16 minutes, Afonso Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferranha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Afonso Abreu in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Afonso Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Afonso Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Braga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Albertino Faro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Braga. Zezere FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albertino Faro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Albertino Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Afonso Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vicente Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ferranha's zone, Vicente Matias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Martins came out of the goal and Vicente Matias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Zezere FC booed when Ferranha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Moura was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Afonso Abreu made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Manuel Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferranha and the Zezere FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ferranha's Manuel Martins got a free kick in the 56th minute. Afonso Braga came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferranha's Afonso Abreu. But to his dismay, Afonso Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Zezere FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jarbas Candal hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ferranha's Afonso Moura tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Albertino Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertino Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Afonso Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertino Faro in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Braga saved Zezere FC from getting behind. Afonso Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Faro in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Zezere FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Vicente Matias hit a great ball. Ferranha were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zezere FC for a fine match.
