Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vicente Matias made the kick off and thus started the match. When Jarbas Candal fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zezere FC's protests and gave Jarbas Candal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Jarbas Candal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delfim Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Frederico Sousa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 15th match minute, Esgueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Bettencourt to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Isac Quental made a precise shot to the right of Frederico Sousa. Esgueira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Esgueira's Frederico Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Matias in the 24th minute of play. Isac Quental fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Sousa having to interfere. Isac Quentals short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Frederico Sousa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Matias in the 32nd minute of play forced Esgueira's goalkeeper Frederico Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isac Quental recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederico Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Matias in the 35th minute of play. When Isac Quental came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Zezere FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isac Quental couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Zezere FC booed when Esgueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Matias was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 49th minute. Zezere FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Isac Quental had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Zezere FC's Vicente Matias in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esgueira's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esgueira's goalkeeper Frederico Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vicente Matias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederico Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Frederico Sousa came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Zezere FC's Isac Quental. But to his dismay, Isac Quental quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 84 minutes into the match, Isac Quental had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederico Sousa. Esgueira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isac Quental was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 88 minutes into the match, Zezere FC's Isac Quental sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the match Zezere FC got a corner. Esgueira's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emílio Sá ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vicente Matias made a great header on Zezere FC's corner, it was just that Esgueira's Frederico Sousa managed to reach the ball for a save. Vicente Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Frederico Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Isac Quental came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Zezere FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isac Quental couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the game, Zezere FC's Jarbas Candal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederico Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.
