Damião Águas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Azinhaga FC's Samuel Pádua in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Lourosa's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Lourosa's zone, Damião Águas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Amorim came out of the goal and Damião Águas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Veríssimo Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Azinhaga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Lourosa the free kick. A collision led to Azinhaga FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Veríssimo Linhares hit a great ball. Gustavo Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Avelino Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Diego Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azinhaga FC and the SC Lourosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Diego Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SC Lourosa fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when SC Lourosa's Miguel Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Damião Águas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pedro Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Lourosa's Bento Porto got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gustavo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avelino Monteiro having to interfere. Gustavo Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Matos made a kick off. Pedro Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Pádua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Pádua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Lourosa's Bento Porto got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 61 played minutes, SC Lourosa's Tomás Esteves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Avelino Monteiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Lourosa reached it. Gustavo Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Avelino Monteiro came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Lourosa's Miguel Ramos. But to his dismay, Miguel Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Nicolas Bentes struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Pedro Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azinhaga FC. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Lourosa's goalkeeper Pedro Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ramos in the 80th minute of play forced Azinhaga FC's goalkeeper Avelino Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avelino Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Avelino Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Lourosa's Gustavo Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Lourosa fully deserved thier win.
